Very large so there is plenty to choose from. Very well stocked. Check out system really sucks for both customers and cashiers. Who ever designed it should be sacked
Friar Tuck Edwardsville is the best place to buy not only wine, beer and liquor, but various set-ups and bar ware. The employees always go out of their way to be helpful, friendly and professional. Their Saturday taste tests for wine and other items are great, there are always one or more items we enjoy and buy, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and answer any and all questions. Saturday taste tests are a must if you haven't tried them yet! We also feel safe that they check ID's to make sure everyone is legal.
Great new location. Helpful service. Nice to have a glass of wine or whiskey at the bar.
WASTED MY TIME. I drove 20 minutes to go there. Got everything picked out. It took a while to find what I wanted since the store was so big. I had two employees walk past me multiple times and they didn't even acknowledge that I was trying to get their attention. Went to the register and the lady asked for my birth date and I.D. Gave her both and got turned down because my I.D was vertical still since I turned 21 a week prior. It took everything in me to avoid making a scene. I don't ever plan on coming back for those two reasons.
I found some rare and hard to find Brandy. Presidente Brandy from Mexico... Amazing!
