It was a great experience. I was greeted as I walked in and was given a car that far exceeded my expectations. The car was clean and the service was great. This was definitely a WOW experience. Thank you Andrew Winkler for great customer service.
I was stranded in Collinsville, IL on a Sunday afternoon when the engine in my car locked up and would not run. The next day I had the car towed to a repair shop and called Enterprise for a rental car. A representative of Enterprise picked me up at the repair shop and took me to the office. I rented a very good car at an excellent daily rate with unlimited mileage. That was perfect for me because I drove 600 miles to my home, then drove 600 miles back when my car was repaired 4 days later. Everybody at Enterprise were very courteous, friendly and helpful. I recommend Enterprise to anyone who needs to rent a car.
I have been known for frequent use at Enterprise, Edwardsville IL location. Overall, the team aboard any given day, between phone calls, customers returning and picking up, pull together and move us, the customers, in and out. I seldom use assistant's when stranded when returning a rental, but the team get's me home in a prompt, timely manner.
They overbooked the full size cars, then get you to pay $39 a day for the compact and throw you a bone buy giving you free upgrade the next time around (if available). It costs them nothing and they make more money off renting a $10000 dollar car at 39 a day than they would renting an SUV at 45 a day. They must laugh like crazy as soon as you walk out the door.
Usually a great experience all around. The customer care and greeting was good but the car I was in was very visually dirty inside. I got Clorox wipes to clean the interior areas that I would con in contact with. but I must reiterate 3/4 times they are great
